All of this below is from the original series Dragonball, before Dragonball Z---Goku was sent to Earth as a baby in order to vanquish the planet of all humans, to prepare the planet for planetary trade. Earthlings are so weak that only one baby Saiyan is required to take over the planet. Goku is a Saiyan - he has the power to transform at the full moon into a giant were-ape . Saiyans are ultra-powerful, possible the strongest race in the universe. A man found Goku's spacepod when walking through the forest. Goku was very vicious as a baby and the old man had a very hard time controlling him. Goku would have taken over Earth, if not for an accident that occurred when he was a baby. He bumped his head and as a result he lost his memory of his mission and turned good. The old man (named Son Gohan) raised him until he died, after that, he had to live on his own. One day, Goku was walking through the forest when a girl in a car found him (her name is Bulma). She just happened to be traveling through the forest, looking for a Dragonball with her dragonball radar. She decided to take him along because he looked quite strong carrying a huge fish with ease and she needed a bodyguard from all of the dinosaurs and bad dudes she might encounter. They travel all over the world meeting friends and crap and have a nice little time looking for dragonballs-which give you a wish if you find all 7 and summon the eternal dragon (by the way, the title Dragonball comes from the word dragonball-get it?).---The series continues and nothing much happens, sure there is the occasional battle but it's primarily against dinosaurs and other crap.

RADITZ:_

Here is where Dragonball Z begins, about 5 years after the original Dragonball--- Okay... An alien lands on Earth in the same type of space pod that Goku landed in. He roughs up a farmer who was a little too curious, and noticed evidently that Kakarrot (Kakarrot is Goku's real name) failed his mission (see top). The alien notices a large power reading (from a device over his left eye called a scouter). Suspecting it to be from Kakarrot, he flies to the source of the reading and finds Piccolo (a character from the original Dragonball series that was a villain and had the desire to rule the world-aren't I so nice for explaining things for you?). The alien understands that the source is not Kakarrot; he also realizes that not all earthlings are weaklings-seeing that his power level is above 300. Piccolo told the alien that he better leave because he obviously is not this "kakarrot" person. Piccolo attacks the alien-which turns out to be effortless, because it didn't even bruise the powerful being. The alien (by the way, I'm sorry for always calling him alien) was about to destroy Piccolo, when he was suddenly alerted from a huge power reading traveling at a very fast rate. Believing the power to belong Kakarrot, he left Piccolo amazed at the alien's power. Meanwhile, Goku and a small boy are riding on a cloud named "flying nimbus"(from the original Dragonball of course) toward a tiny island in the middle of the ocean. They arrive, greeted by Goku's old friends- Master Roshi, Krillin, Bulma, and Oolong. They are amazes to find out that Goku has a kid!!! His name is Gohan-named after Goku's "dad", Son Gohan. Bulma notices that Gohan has a tail. They ask Goku if Gohan has ever been out at a full moon-and he says-"no". They are also amazed at how neat and well-mannered Gohan is. Goku tells them that it's because of his wife-Chi Chi-she feels that there is no need to train, that he should concentrate on his studies. Goku then turns around and notices a very large power level. The alien arrives. After staring each other down for a while, the alien proceeds to tell Goku how they both are Saiyan and about Goku's mission to kill all humans on earth. He then tells him that-dum dum dum-he is Goku's brother-Raditz, and that Goku�s real name is Kakarrot!!! Raditz then informs Goku that if he doesn't kill 100 humans before sundown, he will take Goku's son-Gohan instead. As collateral, he flies away with Gohan, screaming and crying for his daddy. Piccolo then lands on the island. He informs Goku of Raditz's enormous power level and how it must take their combined forces to beat him. They agree to form a limited truce- after all; Piccolo wants this planet for himself to rule. Bulma thinks up a smart idea of using her Dragonball radar (an item used in the original Dragonball series to find the dragonballs) to find Gohan because of the Dragonball he has on his hat (did I forget to tell you that Gohan had a Dragonball on his hat-oh well). Goku and Piccolo call off a sneak attack, because it's obvious that Raditz would sense them (scouter) coming a mile away- so they decide to just attack head on. Gohan was put in the space pod that Raditz arrived in and screams wildly for his father. Meanwhile, Piccolo and Goku proceed to fight Raditz. Raditz blows off Piccolo's arm, but Piccolo recovers. Piccolo then tells Goku to stall Raditz by grabbing his tail (a Saiyan's weak point is his tail.) while Piccolo charges up for his special beam cannon attack. Raditz somehow talks Goku into letting him go-by telling him that he will be nice and that all he wanted was for Goku to join him, and that he will stop fighting if he would just let him go-and Goku does, which makes Piccolo miss with his attack. Raditz slams Goku to the ground and proceeds to stomp the life out of him and breaking his ribs. Gohan, infused with anger and some hidden power, blasts out of his pod prison and head-butts Raditz in the chest, breaking his armor-which Raditz says that no one else has done (by the way, Gohan being about 4, has a much higher power level than Krillin, Goku, or Piccolo.). With Raditz stunned, Goku regains strength and gives Raditz a full-nelson to hold him in place. Piccolo then charges up for one more blast with his super beam cannon attack. He aimed at Raditz's broken chest armor and blows a hole straight through BOTH Goku's and Radtiz's chests. With Raditz's last breath, he tells them that his scouter is also a transmitter and sent a message to other Saiyans to pick up where he left off, and that they will be coming in one year to earth. Raditz dies, Goku dies, what now? Meanwhile, far, far away.....

SAIYAN:_

Two Saiyans-Vegeta and Nappa-bask in their win of another planet as the signal from Raditz comes in telling them about Earth. They decide to go to Earth for the Dragonballs. Not to wish back Raditz, but to wish to become immortal. Meanwhile, on Earth.....Bulma and Krillin (Chi Chi was worrying all about Gohan the whole time) arrive to find Gohan crying and Goku dead. Goku, arriving in the afterlife, is escorted by Kami (Kami is the same type of being that Piccolo was, and is-as we find out later-Piccolo's split form.). There, Kami and Goku find King Yemma, a giant that is the guy that decides what happens to ya' when you die. Kami asks the king if Goku can train under King Kai-which is some guy in the afterlife that is very very powerful. King Yemma agrees and sends Goku off to snake way-which is 1,000,000 mile road leading to King Kai's place. Meanwhile, Krillin is told to tell Chi Chi about Goku and Piccolo takes Gohan away. Piccolo's goal is to train Gohan and to release his hidden power in preparation for Earth's invasion in 1 year. Piccolo deserts Gohan in the wilderness to survive on his own; to change from being such a wussy school boy, and to become a warrior. Goku runs along snakeway and sees a house in the middle of nowhere alongside the road. He enters, assuming it's King Kai's place and finds a beautiful woman. Assuming she's King Kai, he says that he came for training, she complies and starts to dance with him. Goku, assuming this as a form of training, tackles her and is very embarrassed. She tried all ways to keep him there but none of her ways work. She decided to show her real form to the unsuspecting visitor, she removed the illusion and the house Goku was standing in turned into the belly of a snake! He realized that it was all an illusion and quickly tied the huge serpent into a ball. Meanwhile, Kami brings together the worlds best warriors to train them personally in preparation for the invasion. Meanwhile on the other side of the galaxy... The two Saiyan space pods land on the planet Arlia. Vegeta and Nappa exit the pods and see huge insect men ready to attack. Nappa was about to destroy the insects when Vegeta stopped him, telling him that it would be more fun if they got captured. They get captured and overhear the story about the planet's new leadership. The evil king overtook the planet and stole one of the prisoners's wives. The guards tell the king about the two "aliens" that just arrived, and all of the sudden Vegeta and Nappa arrive-they took good care of the guards in their prison. The king sends many fighters to attack the intruders and the Saiyan warriors succeed in destroying them in a jiffy. The king, after seeing the demonstration of power displayed by Nappa and Vegeta orders his higher level fighters to come out. The Saiyans again easily destroy them. The last final combatant was a giant insect. Again, the Saiyans-Nappa and Vegeta, easily kill the huge insect and the king along with him. They leave the planet..... . The prisoner and the Princess that the king took away rejoice their love just as Vegeta destroys the planet and flies away. On Earth, the Earth's special forces train in Karin tower. In the Pendulum room-a special room that recreates a saiyan battle mentally. Their techniques in this room train the spirit but not the body. Anyways,..... Bulma and Master Roshi have all 7 dragonballs to wish Goku back, but are told not to so that Goku can get his training under King Kai. Gohan meets up with Piccolo after a LONG time of being alone and getting stronger and starts to train with Piccolo. Piccolo was an extremely tough teacher, he gave no slack breaks at all. Gohan got increasingly stronger in his battles with Piccolo. Piccolo destroyed the moon because Gohan almost destroyed Earth when he turned into his were-ape form. For some reason the moon apeared again in the sky and Gohan went crazy. He turned into a were-ape and almost destroyed the planet again. Piccolo found out that the cause for the moon was because it was a projection from Goku's original space pod. Goku makes it to King Kai's place and realizes that the little planetoid that King Kai lives on is 10 times normal Earth gravity-he could hardly even walk. He meets King Kai, who believes that Goku arrived there to train from the greatest comedian in the universe. After he finds out what Goku is really there for, King Kai still makes Goku try and make him laugh before Goku gets trained. Goku, after achieving the task of making King Kai laugh, begins his first training sequence. His first training sequence entails catching the resident monkey (Bubbles is his name) on the planetoid. This is no easy task, as the planet (I already said this) has ten times Earth's gravity. After he catches the monkey (Bubbles), Goku then has to hit this incredibly fast fire fly (Gregory) with a super heavy mallet. Of course this all is hard for Goku, but as usual, he succeeds. A Saiyan only gets stronger as he/she struggles under pain. Goku then learns from the master himself all about doing the Spirit Bomb and the all powerful Kaio Ken power-up. He finishes training just as the Saiyans arrive. Goku's friends on Earth wish him back by summoning the eternal dragon with the dragonballs, but it's too late-it will take Goku at least a day to get back to Earth with his new power level. The Saiyans raised hell when they landed.Two space pods crashed into a metropolitan area and busted up some buildings. The pods opened and out stepped two Saiyans- one large and one small. They were Nappa and Vegeta. The two flew up into the air, and in a move of ignorance, Nappa destroyed the "deserted" city. They flew over to a field where await them the Z warriors (The guys I told you about that trained under Kami were also known as the Z warriors: Tien; Chau-zu; Yaimcha; Yajirobe; and Krillin.). They land and prepare to fight. Nappa pulls out a small glass vile and pours out little green balls onto the ground. After a while, little green creatures sprouted out and were very vicious and angry. Each of the saibamen (that's the name of the little green guys) have the same power of each of the Z warriors. The first to fight was Yaimcha , who quickly k.o.'d a saibaman, but to Yaimcha's surprise and especially Krillin's, the saibaman played a dirty trick by exploding itself on Yaimcha's back and killing him. In a fit of anger, Krillin killed the other Saibamen in one shot. Caou-zu quickly died by exploding himself on Nappa's back-to no effect. Next, Tien died in a fit of rage from losing his pal Chau-Zu. Meanwhile, Yajirobe is talking to numerous news reporters about how the Z warriors are his men and how he organized everything (the fat bastard). Piccolo, Gohan and Krillan were the only ones left. They had a plan to stop the evil Nappa (Vegeta is standing back the whole time with his arms crossed-if you were wondering.) by getting him from both sides. But, of course when they needed him, Gohan failed by being a wussy little crying turd of a boy. Vegeta and Nappa both agree that it would be a much more fun fight if Goku was there, so they called time out for three hours. Nappa was getting bored so he decided to go have fun by destroying the local Navy and Air Force. Nappa get's back and Goku hasn't't arrived yet, so he decides to fight the remaining Z warriors again. Vegeta suddenly breaks from his silence and notices a very high power reading approaching quickly (Goku recently reached earth, got some sinzu beans-beans that fully bring back your power-and jumped on his flying nimbus-a cloud he got in the original Dragonball that allows him to fly without wasting his power.), so he tells Nappa to hurry up and finish the Z warriors off. Nappa asks about the dragonballs, and Vegeta said that it was okay to kill Piccolo because there is a planet named Namek where Piccolo came from where they could get the dragonballs for themselves (alot of information huh?). Nappa decided to go for Gohan first with an incredible powerup that shook the earth. Piccolo could not stand by filled with memories of Gohan, so in a courageous move, he blocked the attack-and died. Goku arrives on the battlefield. After a while of Goku dogging every attack that Nappa offered, Goku quickly and efficiently kicked his ass with his Kaio-Ken technique. Nappa, totally weak and helpless on the dirt begged Vegeta for help. Vegeta responds by throwing Nappa high up into the air and exploding him with a huge energy blast (show-off). Goku asks Vegeta if they could go to a better fighting location and they head off to battle, leaving Gohan and Krillin alone. Vegeta and Goku fight ferociously, with Goku using his powerful Kaio-Ken technique. After telepathic warnings from King Kai-telling Goku not to go above a kaio-Ken x2 attack, Goku does anyway. Vegeta got very frustrated fighting Goku and decides to just go ahead and destroy the whole planet with his Galactica move. Goku responds by doing a Kaio-Ken x3!!! After the enormous powerup, he did a Kame-ha-meha and succeeded in blasting back Vegeta's beam. After seeing Vegeta fly up high into the air and not come back, Yajirobe thought it would be okay to jump out of his hiding place to cheer for his buddy succeeding. Goku told him that Vegeta would not be lost from that blast, but he would be coming back-more angry than ever. It was then that Vegeta realized that he must transform to beat Vegeta. Vegeta told Goku about how Goku's father was an amazing scientist. He made up a move that creates a false moon. Vegeta did this move. Gohan and Krillin notice a very bright light in the sky (the false moon) and decide to rush to the battle scene to help Goku. Vegeta in his were-ape form was very powerful. Goku was amazed at how fast and strong Vegeta was and could hardly do anything in defense. Goku decided to do a clever move by doing Tien's Solar Flare move (a move which makes a blast of light very very bright which can blind an enemy for a limited time.) right in vegeta's face. This gave Goku enough time to find a safe locale to do the Spirit Bomb. It was too late! Vegeta recovered too soon and he sensed an extreme power. He found Goku before he could shoot his Spirit Bomb and got it knocked right back onto his body. Vegeta knocked the crap out of Goku and stepped on his legs (ouch!). He was just about to poke his finger right through Goku's body when Goku used all of his remaining power to shoot out Vegeta's eye. When Vegeta recovered from the extreme pain, he picked Goku up and started to squeeze the crap out of him. It was then that Gohan and Krillin arrived. He squeezes and squishes Goku between his palms. Gohan could not stand to watch his dad get hurt, so he devised a plan to stall Vegeta while Krillin cuts off his tail. Gohan succeeded in getting his attention, but Vegeta-with his enormous were-ape ears-heard Krillin doing his Destructo Disc move and dogged. Yajirobe (for once)- who was watching from behind some rocks, jumps out of nowhere and chops off Vegeta's tail with his Kitana. Vegeta turns back to his humanoid form. Yajirobe, bragging about his win, gets his ass partially kicked by Vegeta while Gohan turns into a were-ape from the still present moon. Vegeta is very worried and starts to kick and punch the boy as he is growing. Now Gohan was huge and trying to beat down Vegeta's ass, but Vegeta succeeded in cutting off his tail. Vegeta couldn't get away in time as Gohan smashes him with his decreasing bulk. Vegeta, realizing his loss, took out a remote control and pushed a button to send his space pod to him. As Vegeta was trying to crawl back into the pod from which he came, Krillin remembers all of his dead friends and picks up Yajirobe sword. He charges at Vegeta and as he lowered the sword to Vegeta's throat, Goku called out and made Krillin stop, to not stoop to a villain's level.

FREIZA:_

Now Goku is in the hospital, living in an iron lung. Krillin and Gohan have a few bruises but were okay. Bulma was very sad at the realization of her dead buddies. Krillin and Gohan have the idea of using the dragonballs to wish them back, but alas, the idea is turned down. You see, Kami created the dragonballs, and whenever the creator of dragonballs dies, then the dragonballs disappear. Piccolo, being Kami's split form, died in the battle with Nappa and because Kami is Piccolo's split form, Kami died too. The dragonballs are no more on earth. But Krillin remembered what Vegeta said. He said that they can go ahead and kill Piccolo because they can just go to planet Namek, where Piccolo came from to get the dragonballs (get it?). So now that they know that there is a possibility to get the dragonballs, they wanted to know how far away Namek was from earth. Goku asked King Kai, telepathically, how far away Namek was from Earth. Bulma used the answer to calculate that it would take several thousand years to make it to Namek with a conventional Earth space craft. So that idea was shot down. But something else happened Mister Po Po showed up. Mister Po Po was Kami's assistant. He arrived on a flying carpet outside of the hospital room's window. Bulma stepped on the carpet and it took her to the original space craft Piccolo arrived in. They found out that it takes commands in the Namekian language to operate. On a little test drive they did, it took them one second to get to Jupiter! So, with Bulma having to learn the Namekian language really quick, they were all set. When they asked who wanted to go, they immediately looked at Bulma (she is an electronic genius). Krillin said he would go, and after some begging from his mom, Gohan said he would go to. When they were ready to go, Bulma had a space suit on, Krillin had beach clothing on and a hat, and Gohan-well, Gohan had a new haircut. He had his school clothing on, and was carrying tons of school supplies (books, etc.). They leave for Namek. On their way to Namek, they encounter a ship in space that looks just like theirs-in fact it is theirs. A reflection. They enter a ship and walk around for a while to see just what is going on. They see a table set with food. Gohan and Krillin are not stupid enough to fall for that, but Bulma is. She went toward the table, and the trap was set, she was pulled up to the roof by a rope and chained to the wall. Out of every door come hoards of mercenaries all pointing their guns at the bunch. They threaten to kill Bulma Gohan and Krillin because they mistake them for Freiza's men. Freiza destroyed their planet (you'll hear more about him later-that is him on the right) and they took off in their highly reflective space ship so they wouldn't be seen. Bulma ends up saving them by navigating them through a meteor field. They leave the ship and head on their way. Their next stop is planet Namek (or so it seems). They are greeted by two Namekians (or so it seems) who gladly (or so it seems) help them find the seven dragonballs (or so it seems) on the planet (or so it seems). It turns out that the planet was really an illusion. The two "Namekians" were really aliens that read Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma's minds when they were sleeping and found out about the Namekians, dragonballs and such. Their main objective was to stall them on the planet long enough for some weird storm to pass, so they could steal their ship and get off the asteroid (it was really and asteroid). They make it off, leaving the two aliens for dead on the small planetoid. Goku get's partially well and eats a sinzu bean. He asked Bulma's dad (he's a genius ) to make him a space craft to bring him to Namek too. He went to his house to check it out, and it was cool! It was a huge ship made out of Raditz's original space pod. It had all that Goku asked for. It had a gravity trainer and a kitchen (that's about all that Goku needs to survive). He get's in and he finds out that it will take about 6 days to get to Namek, and takes off. The space bunch arrives on Namek. Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma get attacked by two warriors when they land. Gohan and Krillin promptly demolish the two baddies, but it was too late, their space ship ends up being damaged beyond repair. Gohan and Krillin sense some powerful power readings and travel to that spot. They see several people in a Namekian village harassing some elders. Krillin can't stand it as he sees some pink guy kicking the old Namek asses to get out information on dragonballs. They see them take off with a dragonball after a while of harassing and beating the Nameks. He ends up killing several Nameks after the younger Nameks that were working in the fields came to battle. When the battle was over, a young Namek was left over-his name was Dende-Gohan and Krillin take him back to Bulma. Oh yeah... I forgot to mention Freiza. Well, right now in Dragonball Z, Frieza is by far the strongest character. On Goku's way to Namek, King Kai was telling Goku not to go to, because Frieza is way too strong. Frieza is the main planet broker guy. He was the guy that organizes the sale of planets-including earth. That's all that you need to know about Frieza for now-besides the fact that Frieza was on Namek with that pink guy (named Dodoria) and several other warriors. Vegeta made his way to Namek after first stopping at one of Frieza's base planets for rejuvenation. He found out that Frieza was heading toward Namek and quickly pursued. While on Namek, he encountered several Namekian villages in search for the dragonballs, while at the same time-so was Frieza's henchmen. Vegeta encountered Kui-an old enemy and killed him. He then met up with Dodoria and promptly killed him as well. He also encountered another one of Frieza's henchmen, named Zarbon. This battle was not so successful for Vegeta. After a while of fighting with Vegeta, Zarbon showed his true colors by transforming into a huge monster and totally demolishing Vegeta. He left him for dead and went away. After reporting to Frieza with the good news of Vegeta's death-Frieza got very pissed of that Zarbon did not make sure he was dead-which he wasn't. Zarbon left to go retrieve Vegeta for information on where exactly Vegeta put his dragonballs. Meanwhile......Bulma found out that Goku was coming and told the guys. While Gohan was out looking for a dragonball, Dende told Krillin about the eldest Namek. The eldest Namek created all of the Nameks on planet Namek after a terrible storm. Dende took Krillin to the eldest Namek (his name was Guru), where he got a dragonball and a little surpirse. Guru released Krillin's inner power. Krillin then started his long fly back to their base to tell Gohan of the good news. Gohan found one of Vegeta's dragonballs in a pond and flew back as well. Zarbon found Vegeta and brought his messed up body (still alive) to Frieza's base to revive him in a rejuvenation tank. They wanted information on the dragonballs. Vegeta was too smart for them though. He busted out of the tank and killed a guard. He then blew a hole in the wall of the base-to get Frieza's attention and to make it appear as if he left. When all of the guards (including Frieza) were at the scene of the hole, Vegeta was at the dragonballs. He busted another hole in the roof of the base and threw all of the dragonballs far, far, away, so he could get them later on. With one more blast down the corridor, he left to retrieve the dragonballs he threw. Frieza yelled at Zarbon telling him that if he didn't get his dragonballs back that it would be his neck. Vegeta went to his stash of balls (5 balls) and saw Krillin fly by holding a dragonball! He followed him. But Vegeta had a follower as well-Zarbon.They all landed at the good guys' base camp. Vegeta fought and won Zarbon (he explained to the audience and Zarbon very clearly that a Saiyan gets stronger after every near-death encounter), and took the dragonball. He put the ball with the rest and went to where the last ball was (in the pond). Along the way, he met up with Gohan (Gohan had the missing dragonball). Gohan saw Vegeta and hid the dragonball while Vegeta talked to him. Vegeta gave him one good knee in the gut as he left. Frieza calls the Ginyu Force. A special elite force of fighters made up of the strongest fighters in the universe (ha!). He calls them to do away with Vegeta, an enemy that was quickly getting the better of him. The quickly zip off toward Namek. So, Gohan met up with Krillin and they headed to Guru's place to release Gohan's hidden powers. Vegeta arrived very pissed after finding out that Gohan took his dragonball. Krillin had to block Vegeta as Gohan got his powers released, but he couldn't stop him. Vegeta headed off toward the home of Guru and out stepped Nail. Nail is a Namek that is kind of Guru's nurse, and guard. After a little stupid discussion between Nail and Vegeta, out stepped Gohan-streaming with power-oohh ahhh. Just at that moment, five points of light streamed through the sky and landed. This was the Ginyu force that Frieza called to do away with Vegeta. Vegeta tells them that each of the Ginyu are as powerful as he. He convinces Gohan and Krillin to give him the dragonball so that he could wish himself immortal and defeat the Ginyu force. Krillin and Gohan agree and fly off to get another dragonball from Bulma. When they land to bring together all of the dragonballs, Krillin resists to give Vegeta the dragonball he had. Vegeta was about to slay the human, right when the Ginyu force landed. Vegeta immediately threw a dragonball far away, but at that moment, a Ginyu lept at super speed and caught it. Vegeta screamed at Krillin to destroy his, but another ginyu froze time and took the dragonball away. Captain Ginyu then took all of the dragonballs away and headed toward Frieza. The first to fight were Gohan and Krillin against Goldo. Goldo was the guy that freezes time. I would have to say that Goldo is the weakest character in the Ginyu force. He just freezes time and then runs away-how weak. He froze time several times and then did a mind freeze that made them not move as he kicked their asses. He was just about to skewer the two with a sawed off tree as Vegeta interviened and killed him. Gohan was very thankful, but Vegeta said that he just did it because he hated Goldo. After that was Recoome's turn. Vegeta beat his ass down and believed he killed him, but Recoome just got right back up again. After that, Recoome had a series of good attacks back at Vegeta and Vegeta looked as if he was done for, but he flew up from under-water from where he was slammed and got a good fist in Recoome's stomach. But of course, this would not alter Recoome's strength. He slammed Vegeta down into the ground pulled him back up again. While Recoome was boasting about his strength, Vegeta blasted him right in the face with an energy-um-blast. Recoome was just about to finish Vegeta off, when Krillin and Gohan jumped in. Recoome was just about to shoot Vegeta with a mouthful of energy, but Gohan and Krillin jumped in. Gohan dived and took Vegeta away and Krillin punched Recoome's mouth shut, diverting the energy out of his nostrils and busting out all of his teeth. This made Recoome angry. I believe that this blow right now was about the funniest hit in the English episodes. Recoome took a few steps up to Krillin and with ONE kick, he sent him flying, breaking all of his bones. He was done for, he said he can't go on. So here we are, with Gohan, to fight alone. It's surprising how long Gohan held out there. He gets hurt alot and most of his hits miss. But, with a kick to the neck, he went down. Enter Goku...In his 6 day trip to Namek in his space ship/gravity chamber, he trained extensively. He first trained at 20G, which was very hard. He upped it to 50g, which was incredibly hard. He was hanging upside down doing sit-ups when all of the sudden, he couldn't move a muscle in his body. A teleprompter appeared with Dr. Briefs (Bulma's dad) on the screen. He yelled at Goku, asking him why he was training at 100G. Goku was amazed himself because he never set that level. They find out that he was going through a magnetic storm in space. When the storm was over, he realized that in order to be strong enough to defeat Frieza, he must train at 100G. Goku arrived on Namekand showed off his incredible speed. He healed Gohan and Krillin with sinzu beans and after reading Krillin's mind, he saw that Vegeta was good now for saving Gohan and Krillin from Goldo, so he gave him a sinzu bean as well. Now it was Goku's turn up at bat. In one hit, he discombobulated Recoome. He was down for the count. There were two other Ginyu warriors left over (besides Captain Ginyu). Baata, a blue monster known for being the "fastest in the universe", and Jees, a red rock-and-roll like puk with long white hair, get angry at Gokou's toying around and attack at full power, but are losing to Gokou anyway. Baata gets knocked down and Jees escapes. Vegeta mocks Gokou for being to soft at letting Jees get away, and then kills off the knocked out Baata and Recoom. Ginew reaches Freeza and gives him the dragonballs. Freeza summons for his wish of immortality, but nothing happens. They bury the dragonballs outside the Freeza's ship to hide them. Freeza goes to seek the Namek Elder Senior to find out how to work the dragonballs while Ginew is left to stay guard. Jees arrives and informs Ginew of what has happened. Ginew heads to fight Gokou. As Ginew and Gokou battle, Ginew realizes that Gokou is stronger than him. Ginew badly jabs himself and shoots a strange beam at Gokou. Unaware of what is happening, Gokou gets his body swapped by Ginew. By the time that Gokou realizes that Ginew's special technique is body swapping, it is too late. Ginew laughs and he and Jees fly back to the dragonballs. Gokou is stouck in Ginew's battered body forced to chase after his own body. Meanwhile...Vegeta arrives to Freeza's spaceship to seek the dragonballs, but Gohan and Klilyn also arrive. Vegeta hides behind the ship to watch the Earthings, planning to kill them once they summon Shenlong for him. Gohan and Klilyn use Bulma's dragon radar to locate the dragonballs and summon it, but nothing happens. Everyone is baffled why. Gohan and Klilyn sense the "ki" of people coming and hide. Ginew and Jeese land, looking at the dragonballs and wondering who dug them up. Because Ginew is in Gokou's body, Klilyn mistakes him for Gokou and comes out to greet him. Gohan senses something wrong in his father's body and yells that that Gokou is not his dad. Gohan and Klilyn face the remainder of the Ginew Force, but Gokou also arrives. He reasons that since he has trouble controlling his new body because he's not used to it, so will Ginew in his body. Ginew tries to power up to Gokou's power level, but cannot because he deson't know the Kaiou-ken technique. Gokou tells that Gohan and Klilyn and beat Ginew in Ginew's lack of experience. Ginew gets beaten and calls for Jees to help. Vegeta comes out of hiding and challenges Jees. Vegeta is confident of his power. He learned that Saiyans grow stronger each time they face the brink of death. After surviving his attack from Gokou and then from Recoom, Vegeta's power level had increased tremendously. He toys with Jees and then kills him. Then, Vegeta flies to Ginew and badly beats him. Ginew begins to admire Vegeta's body and decided to change bodies with him. Ginew does his change body technique on Vegeta but Gokou jumps in the way and gets his old body back. However, it was so badly beaten that he cannot move. Ginew, back in his old body, attempts his change body technique on Vegeta once again. Vegeta still doesn't know what's happening and charge at Ginew. Gokou turns nearby frog in Ginew's path and forces Ginew to change into a frog. Meanwhile...Guru sends Dende to seek Gohan and Klilyn to teach them how to summon the Porunga Shenlong. Freeza arrives to Guru and is about to kill him for refusing to teach the words needed to work the dragonballs. Nail, body guard of Guru and the strongest warrior of the planet, tells Freeza that if Guru dies, so will the dragonballs. Freeza is forced to spare Guru and fights Nail instead. The two fly to a remote area to fight. Nail is no match for Freeza, but continues fighting anyway to stall time for Dende to reach the Earthlings. Freeza finally learns that he whole fight against Nail was a trick and races back to his spaceship. Nail is left to die. Vegeta offers an alliance with our heroes because Freeza is the common enemy in this battle. Everyone enters Freeza's spaceship as Freeza continues to head back. Gokou is put into a Saiyan recovery pod and Klilyn and Gohan are given Saiyan armor. Klilyn flies off to seek Guru to learn the words to summoning Shenlong. Vegeta takes a nap because he hasn't slept in a while while on Namek. Gohan is outside the ship to guard the dragonballs. Klilyn and Dende bump into each other and head back to Gohan. The three take the dragonballs away from the spaceship to now let Vegeta know. Dende summons the Porunga Shenlong, which can grant three wishes. Piccolo is wished back to life for the first wish, and is teleported to Namek as the second wish. However, Dende forgot to specify where on Namek so Piccolo is in the middle of nowhere. Vegeta awakens from his sleep and quickly rushes to Shenlong, prepared to kill Gohan and Klilyn for cheating him out of his wish for immortality. One wish remains. After much reluctance, Dende goes to ask Shenlong to grant Vegeta's wish because only Vegeta had the potential of killing Freeza. As Shenlong is about to grant Vegeta's wish, Guru dies and the dragonballs thus turn to stones. Vegeta's wish is denied, and Freeza arrives before his victims. Gokou is still recoverying. Freeza's First Transformation...Vegeta, more powerful than before, faces Freeza and is able to stand up to him. Freeza tells that he can change bodies three times. With each transformation, his power level great increases. Since Vegeta has gotten so strong, Freeza undergoes his first stage of transformation. Meanwhile...Piccolo senses the huge "ki"in the battle between Freeza and Vegeta and flies towards that direction. On the way, he encounters the dying Nail, who makes the offer to fuse with him. Piccolo accepts with skeptism and finally fuses with Nail. His power level greatly increases. Piccolo continues to head for Freeza, believing that he can beat anyone with his unbelievable power now. Freeza's Second Transformation...Vegeta is no longer a match for Freeza. Piccolo arrives in time for battle and stands up to Freeza. Freeza decides it time to transform again. Piccolo is beaten down. Klilyn throws a laser spin disc at Freeza and the fireball truncates his tail. Freeza, now an even bigger monster with huge horns, flies to Klilyn and jabs a horn through Klilyn. Gohan attacks Freeza to save him. Klilyn is thrown aside and Gohan gets beaten close to death. At the next scene, Klilyn is back up and lures Freeza away. Freeza doesn't know how Klilyn survived, by follows him anyway. In the distraction, Dende heals Gohan like how he secretly did to Klilyn. Piccolo rejoins the fight and Freeza focuses on killing Piccolo. Vegeta is no longer a hope for victory, but remembers his lesson on how a Saiyan's strength greatly increases each time he reaches close to death; Vegeta recalls Dende's healing abilities and requests Klilyn to shoot a fatal blast at him. Meanwhile, Piccolo and Freeza continue to battle, but Freeza is by far much stronger and beats Piccolo half to death. Freeza's Final Stage...Gohan watches Piccolo getting killed and powers up with anger. His hidden powers are revealed once again as he casts a fireball that even Freeza has trouble blocking. Freeza begins to morph to his perfect stage, but it requires time. As Freeza cracks from the shell of his old body, Dende heals Piccolo. The dying Vegeta requests to be healed, but Dende refuses because of how Vegeta treated his people. After much difficulty, Dende accepts that Vegeta is their only hope at the moment. As Freeza transfroms, he watches Dende heal Piccolo and Vegeta and figures out the usefulness in the young Namek towards his enemies. With annoyance, Freeza shoots and kills Dende. Another shot is shot at Gohan, but Gohan, Klilyn, and Piccolo are not skilled enough to see such speed of the blast. Vegeta sees it and pushes Gohan out of the way. Vegeta and Freeza go head to head. The result is Freeza fulfilling his promise of "torture beyond hell" on Vegeta. Gokou is fully recovered and rushes to the scene. Gokou arrives with a more impressive "ki" level. Vegeta is knocked free from Freeza's grip and tells that Gokou is the Super Saiyan Freeza feared so much. Freeza grows annoyed of Vegeta's comments and shoots a beam through Vegeta's heart, killing him. Vegeta's dying words are for Gokou to take vengeance for all Saiyans. Gokou makes a grave to bury Vegeta in and then faces Freeza. Meanwhile...Bulma is alone wandering around in the dangers of Namek's wilderness. She encounters a frog that she calls "has potential" because it is different from the rest and lets it follow her around as a companion, unaware that the frog is really Ginew. Bulma puts together a gadget that allows animals to talk for her frog buddy. This gives Ginew back his ability for speech. Ginew screams "change!", and swaps bodies with Bulma. Ginew then drives Bulma's flying motorcycle with Bulma hanging on the back, demanding her body back. They coincidently reach where Gohan, Klilyn, and Piccolo are watching the fight between Gokou and Freeza. Our heroes learn that Bulma is not herself because her body was cheering for Freeza instead of Gokou. Ginew learns that his new body is not good for fighting after catfighting Klilyn, and prepared to swap bodies with Piccolo. Gohan throws Bulma in the way and Bulma regains her own body while Ginew becomes the frog again. The movement in the air caused from the fight between Gokou and Freeza blows Bulma and Ginew away, again.
